Please note the precautionary product recall for safety reasons for the products:
31512S InLine® USB power supply, 4-port charger, USB-C PD+QC4 / QC3, 45W, black
31512W InLine® USB power supply, 4-port charger, USB-C PD+QC4 / QC3, 45W, white
As part of our quality assurance process, we have identified a manufacturing defect in the housing of the power supply unit for some of the 31512S and 31512W products and have therefore decided to block the entire stock and initiate a comprehensive recall.
Specifically, the housing of the power supply unit can be opened by applying slight mechanical pressure. As this is a live device and the electrical contacts are exposed when the casing is opened, there is a risk of electric shock. In order to proactively exclude any risk to our customers and end users and in the interests of our own quality standards and general product safety, we have therefore decided to issue a comprehensive recall.
For this product recall, we follow the protocol of the Product Safety Act for recalls and take full responsibility for the process, documentation, communication with the authorities and disposal. Under the Product Safety Ordinance (ProdSV) and in accordance with the provisions of the Product Safety Act (ProdSG), all economic operators are obliged to actively contribute to the prevention of hazards caused by defective products.
We ask for your cooperation and full support in order to completely eliminate potential risks for end consumers and business partners. In return, you will receive maximum support from us to act in a legally compliant manner and meet your obligations.

This recall has several consequences and obligations. Please note and support:
- Sales stop: Please remove the products immediately from your your product range and your catalogs.
- Free return and credit note for existing goods: Please send us your complete stock of items 31512S and 31512W so that we can document the disposal. To do this, send us an e-mail to [email protected] with your customer number, the quantity and your sender details. We will immediately provide you with a free DHL shipping label so that you can return the product to us without any problems. You will automatically receive a credit note for the returned goods. If required, your sales contact will have an attractive offer ready for an alternative power supply unit.
- Return of sold goods: As a retailer, you are obliged to forward the manufacturer recall to your customers who have purchased items 31512S and 31512W and to document this. You will find a template for this in the appendix. In this case in particular, for legal reasons and for reasons of traceability, the supply chain must be adhered to. This means that you as the retailer are responsible for the return and credit note to your customers. Returned goods must then be sent back to us as described under (2) and will also be credited. Please understand that we are unfortunately not allowed to deviate from this process for legal reasons.
