ISO 9001
The quality management standard ISO 9001 is the most widely used and most important standard in quality management (QM), both nationally and internationally.
Certification according to ISO 9001 is possible for companies and organisations of all sizes and in all sectors and forms the basis for the continuous improvement process of the company's internal quality management system (QMS).
ISO 9001 specifies the minimum requirements for a quality management system to be implemented by companies in order to meet customer requirements as well as other requirements for product or service quality. With the introduction of a QM system, for example:
- increase the transparency of operational processes
- achieve higher customer satisfaction
- Reduce the error rate and thus costs
An essential principle of ISO 9001 is process orientation. A process-oriented QM system accompanies all essential operational processes and puts them to the test. In this way, optimisation opportunities can be uncovered even in good organisations.
