The KN8032VB KVM-over-IP switch provides local console and remote-over-IP access for users who want to monitor and access their entire data centre over a network.
The KN series offers superior FHD video resolution of up to 1920 x 1200, double-speed virtual media transfers, FIPS 140-2 Level 1 security standards through the use of an embedded FIPS 140-2 certified OpenSSL encryption module.
Equipped with two integrated network interface cards (NICs), the KN Series is designed to ensure reliable and available remote access to all servers.
Remote access to the KN-Series can be achieved via WinClient / JavaClient* on a console from a separate location for management and operation.
ATEN also offers an iOS app – PadClient, whose intuitive interface allows easy connection to the KVM-over-IP switch and control of computers directly from the user's iPad.

It enables IT administrators to manage network devices (e.g. servers, storage, routers and switches) in server rooms via management networks that are separate from the main/production networks.
If access to network devices via the production network is difficult, administrators can still access them via the KVM switch.
The KVM switch offers several out-of-band access methods, such as a direct console connection from a local computer, a USB console connection from a laptop, a PSTN connection via a modem, or a dedicated management network connection via the Ethernet (LAN) port.

The KN-Series can be integrated with ATEN's CC2000 Centralised Management Software.
The CC2000 offers a better user experience and enhanced usability.
By utilising consolidated data, task-based navigation, and simplified menus, administrators can easily access, configure, and manage all IT devices.

The KN Series is compatible with ATEN's KVM-over-IP console station, the KA82 Series.
The KA82 series is a standalone console that replaces PCs or notebooks, allowing users to remotely access, monitor, and control all servers connected to multiple ATEN KN series with impenetrable security against virus threats.
It is particularly suitable for environments where PCs are not permitted.
In addition, the KN series works with ATEN's PDU remote power management systems via the user interface of the KVM over IP switches.
