Conferences are kept disruption-free thanks to the rapid bandwidth speed of 5 Gbps and backwards compatibility with USB 2.0/1.1 devices, which ensures fast data transfer. In addition, the US3384i offers versatile methods of port selection, including the front panel push button, RS-232/RS-485 serial commands, and the external remote port selector*, for added operational flexibility. The US3384i supports the ‘power-on detection’ function, which automatically switches the PC focus to the last connected/switched-on host device. In addition, the preferred port setting is configurable so that the focus can switch to a secondary USB host if the primary one is lost. The port status LEDs on the front panel light up to indicate at a glance which of the PCs connected to the US3384i has focus.
In terms of installation, the US3384i comes with plug-and-play support for Windows and macOS operating systems, so no drivers are required. It is also hot-pluggable, allowing users to dynamically connect/disconnect the host devices to the US3384i without turning off the switch. The enclosure is constructed of high-quality metal for enhanced durability and supports wall-mounting to meet more installation requirements.

The ATEN Control System is an Ethernet-based management system that connects all the hardware devices found in a room for centralized control effortlessly. The VK0100 Control Pad not only plays the role as the main controller that connects the hardware devices, but also acts as a control interface with customizable buttons and layout. Created with flexibility in mind, the one-gang Control Pad can be laid out in 14 different combinations of 4 to 8 buttons that snap together as easy as Lego’s. By connecting to the local network, users will find it’s effortless using VK6000 software to configure the desired control of any connected device from the Control Pad. With the ready-to-go combo Control Pad, users instant and smart control of the facilities from a Control Pad that can manage any device in the room.
